This was CAP's first election in Salford and Swinton for over 4 years. Second was our target in Swinton North which we achieved albeit I wanted to be closer to Labour. Considering the national swing away from the government parties to Labour it is clear in Swinton North Community Action Party got the majority of the swings including swings from Labour which is an achievement. This result means in 2014 our 2nd place will be sealed. As you can see in Swinton North Labour currently hold half the support even at the height of an unpopular government in mid-term. Labour are beatable in Swinton North and CAP will be in position to do it when the opportunity arises. Derek Antrobus enjoy your term in office because my guess is this will be your last !
