The Community Action Party candidate for Salford Mayor Michael Moulding has issued the following statement to Salford City radio for demonstrating political bias and discrimination in the Salford Mayoral Referendum debate :-
To Director Salford City Radio,
"With regret, we advise that the Community Action Party candidate for Salford Mayor Michael Moulding is not attending the Mayoral debate organised by Salford City Radio. It has been made clear by Salford City Radio that we would not be given the same air time or allowed the opportunity to debate important issue's with the national political parties. For this reason we consider that the radio station is demonstrating political bias and discriminating unfairly against the Community Action Party. Listeners can find our policies for Salford at www.mikemouldingcommunity-action.over-blog.com"
Michael Moulding the Community Action Party candidate for Salford Mayor says "Salford City Radio has received funding from Salford City Council which is in essance our tax money and they use this privilege to demonstrate political bias towards the three national political parties. I will not bow to these media organisations simply because they think we need their publicity resources unlike the three national political parties as demonstrated in recent days on national television."
The Community Action party is in liaison with Offcom & the Electoral Commission.END
